A few days ago, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg did a public speech in Chinese in Tsinghua University, a top University in Beijing. All the audience present were surprised at his Chinese. Mark Zuckerberg spoke Chinese throughout a Q&A in his speech and have no difficulty at all spreading his ideas to the world. The billionaire and CEO of social media giant Facebook discussed “connecting the world, and the early days of Facebook” at Tsinghua University.
'Speaking of China, I have a more difficult question for Mark, which I hope will not get me fired. What are Facebook's plans in China?' asked the Facebook employee Wei Xiaoliang. 'We are already in China,' Zuckerberg said in Chinese. 'We help Chinese companies gain customers abroad.' 'We want to help the rest of the world connect to China.'
So why does Zuckerberg learn Chinese? In his speech he said there are three reasons: the first is that his wife is Chinese; the second reason was he likes Chinese culture, and the third reason was because "我喜欢挑战" (I like challenges)
